The Marine City Area Fire Authority is dedicated to giving back to our community. We provide fire safety classes to local schools, offer American Heart Association CPR/First Aid and Basic Life Support Classes, teach local Scout troops CPR and First Aid, and hold an annual Open House.
Smoke Detector Program: The Marine City Area Fire Authority has a smoke detector program for residents of our fire district. Residents can stop by the Fire Station and pick up up to two (2) free smoke detectors per household. These smoke detectors are donated yearly from Lumberjack.
Address signs: The application for an address sign can be found here. Address signs are vital to our operations as first responders. The ability to locate your address save seconds to minutes in an emergency.
CPR/First Aid: The Marine City Area Fire Authority offers American Heart Association CPR, First Aid and BLS Classes. For inquiries on classes, please email [email protected]
File of Life: The MCAFA offers “File of Life” Free to citizens in our coverage area. This fillable form is magnetic and hangs on the fridge and can give first responders vital information during a medical emergency. These can be picked up from the department during regular business hours; Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Pamphlets: The MCAFA has a variety of fire safety pamphlets and resources available to the public at no cost. These range from Home Fire Safety, to Mobile Home Fire Safety, to Fire Safety for Older Adults. These are available at the department.
