The Marine City Area Fire Authority services 44 square miles of property and approximately 11,000 residents of Marine City, Cottrellville Township, East China Township and China Township.

The Marine City Area Fire Authority responds to Medical Emergencies, Fires, Car Accidents, Hazardous Incidents, Rescues, Water and Ice Rescues, Stand By’s and Fire Alarms.

The Marine City Area Fire Authority has proudly hosted our annual Fireman’s Ball for over 145 years and regularly engages in the community via different events and our annual Open House.

We are a Medical First Responder Department and host 2 Rescue trucks, 2 Engines, 2 Water Tenders, 2 Grass trucks and a boat.

The Marine City Area Fire Authority is a proud member of the South Water Fire Mutual Aid Agreement with the City of Algonac, Clay Township and Ira Township Fire Departments. This agreement ensures an expedient response to major incidents (fires, water rescues, etc.) by activating our mutual aid departments in one general page out, reducing those precious minutes during an emergency and getting assistance faster.
